Description
Teach your children how to blend both orally and visually using my blending games pack. The pack consists of:
- 2 oral blending bingo games, both with boards for up to 8 players and the corresponding calling cards. Each calling card has the phonetic spelling of the word to help with pronunciation when segmenting the words for the children to blend.
- A set of oral blending cards with long vowel sounds to help children to develop those early blending skills. These can be used for a number of games. Give the child a handful of cards. Can you find the ‘s-t-ar’?
- A cvc matching game once the children are good at blending orally and are ready to blend visually. Children will need to read the word to match the picture. This game can also be adapted for use with the oral blenders where an adult can say and point to the sounds to help the children hear what the word says until they can do it independently.
